New Vice Chair of 研究 for Obstetrics and Gynecology Named at Dartmouth-Hitchcock 健康

Daisy Goodman, DNP, 英里每小时, CARN-AP, APRN, CNM

Dartmouth-Hitchcock 健康 (D-HH) has named Daisy Goodman, DNP, 英里每小时, CARN-AP, APRN, CNM, as the vice chair of 研究 for Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN). 在这个角色中, Goodman will provide guidance and support for scholarly and research programs involving OB/GYN faculty, residents and students, promote internal and external collaborations that align with the department’s research mission and assist colleagues in pursuing grants and other important funding opportunities for the department.

“I am honored to be asked to fill this valuable role,” said Goodman. “With the support of our expert faculty 和 D-H Office of 研究 Operations, I look forward to further developing our research infrastructure with the goal of consistently improving OB/GYN care and patient outcomes.”

In addition to her new role, Goodman recently received a $1 million grant from the Rural Community Opioid Response Program, which will fund research to enhance rural systems of care for Upper Valley families impacted by opioid and other substance abuse disorders.

With “Weaving the Safety Net,” Goodman’s team aims to build strong partnerships between Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, 怀孕的人, 在第一时间作出回应, early childhood educators and community organizations.
